NextDayGPS New Equipment Warranty Policy
Product Warranty Categories, details and duration.
GPS receivers include a one year warranty that covers:
- Defects in materials used to manufacture the product
- Defects in workmanship during manufacture of the product
Tablets/Data Collectors include a six month warranty that covers:
- Defects in materials used in manufacturing processes
- Defects in workmanship during manufacture of the product
Accessories (poles, brackets, cables, chargers, etc) include a 30 day warranty that covers:
- Defects in materials used in manufacturing processes
- Defects in workmanship during manufacture of the product
Warranty Inspection Process
When the end user reports an issue that they believe should be a warranty item, they will be required to ship the part in question to SiteBoss. A service technician will inspect the product and determine the cause of failure. If the failure is found to be within the warranty period and to be a failure or defect within warranty guidelines, Siteboss will do one of the following:
- Repair the product at no cost and return the product to the customer.
- Replace the product at no cost and return the product to the customer.
Items not covered under warranty (including but not limited to)
- Exposure to liquid
- Damage due to negligence; drops, etc.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modification of product
- Damage resulting from environmental causes
- Theft or loss of product
Warranty Request
- A customer should start a warranty request with a Real-Time Support request if possible. If not possible, customer should call or email technical support with a description of problem. Technical support may choose to attempt troubleshooting procedures or instruct customer to ship product to Siteboss if no troubleshooting is possible. If technical support requests product be shipped in for inspection, they will provide RAN (Return Authorization Number) and return instructions via email.
- If an issue is reported near the end of the warranty period, the date used to determine warranty eligibility will be the date the problem is first reported.
