Leica iCON iCR62 R1000 – best-in-class one-person layout and surveying.
The iCR62 blends premium total station sensors with PowerSearch to find and hold your prism fast, even on tough sites. It delivers 2″ angular accuracy with PinPoint EDM to 12,000 ft on a single prism and up to 3,200 ft reflectorless. A dual-axis compensator keeps elevations accurate if the instrument isn’t perfectly leveled, and the long-range Bluetooth handle enables wireless control up to 1,100 ft.

Leica’s iCon software is one of the most robust and feature laden in the construction industry.
Pros: Uses many standard filetypes. Easier to use than many others with advanced user features (applicable to small percentage of users). 
Cons: Includes many features that average users don’t require that make it much harder to navigate. Very limited filetype compatibility with other brands.

Controller:

The Panasonic Toughpad may be the most popular in the industry due to its rugged specs and the popularity of Windows.
Pros: If you demand Windows its debatably the industry leader. The tablet with this package was used only for demonstration purposes.
Cons: Expensive. Long wait times for service (in most cases needs to be sent back from distributor to GPS manufacturer then to Panasonic) and subject to standard Windows issues. Batteries & Chargers are expensive.

iCR60:

A robust multi-feature robot with industry-leading tracking and search features.

Pros: Onboard screen with basic menus, additional applications can be added.The robot comes with case, two batteries, charger. It has the on-board Applications: Setup, Stakeout, Measure, Checks, and Calculator.

Cons: Expensive upfront cost, upgrades, maintenance. Batteries and Chargers are expensive. They are limited to Leica data collection software.
